Sharon Cuneta addressed fans hoping for her and Gabby Concepcion to get back together, and stressed that the veteran actor will always be a part of her life as their daughter KC’s father and nothing more.
Weeks after the “Dear Heart” reunion concert of Sharon and Gabby—dubbed together as ShaGab—the Megastar reminded fans of the reality between her and her former husband, through an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
“I understand that so very many of you Sharon-Gabby fans are thinking, or hoping that we are ‘back together’ in some way or another. Reality check: We have not been in touch since our last concert, we do not talk, text, see each other,” Sharon said.
“We are living totally separate lives and whatever has been going on in mine, he has absolutely nothing to do with, and vice-versa,” she noted.

Sharon said the reunion concert served as a look back on the pair’s “happier times,” but stressed that there’s a reason they have not reconciled their romance since their 1987 breakup.
“He is my eldest daughter’s Papa and so he will always be a part of my life and history—but that’s about it. We just couldn’t, cannot live together because we have very, very little in common,” Sharon wrote.
The Megastar also noted that their reunion concert might be the last time the public would see the former couple together, disclosing that their parties “somehow cannot communicate and agree on certain things both work-related and not.”

Sharon then appealed to the bashers to stop attacking her children, describing their treatment to her offspring as “evil and so unwarranted.”
“This is why I sometimes wish I had never married either Gabby or Kiko [Pangilinan] because four innocent souls had to be dragged into their Mama’s complicated life,” she said. “I beg you to please let them be and leave them alone. Thank you so very much for your understanding. God bless us all.”
Sharon and Concepcion got married in 1984, then welcomed their daughter KC a year later. The pair’s romance did not last as they had their marriage annulled in 1987.
Sharon was then married to former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, with whom she shares her three children Frankie, Miel and Miguel.
