Bea Alonzo gets candid as she extends a message to individuals who cheat on their partners while in a relationship.
Sitting down with Ivana Alawi, Alonzo bluntly said, addressed to cheaters: “Tigilan na nila ‘yan,” jokingly adding, “It’s so 2020… charot pala, 2019! Doon tayo sa mabait.”
It was in 2019 that her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson allegedly cheated on her while they were still together. Anderson made headlines after he and co-Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto got into a controversial relationship, which happened right after his romance with Alonzo. Barretto was also in a relationship with Joshua Garcia in the same timeframe.
Alonzo, who is currently engaged to Dominic Roque, may be speaking from her experience with Anderson. In the vlog, the 36-year-old actress also discussed the concept of karma with Alawi, stressing that those who cheated on their partners would never be happy in life because karma would charge them for their wrongdoings.
“Ako, wala kayong mapapala. Parang, you’re never going to be happy in life. ‘Pag nananakit ka ng tao, mabigat ang buhay mo, kasi may niloko ka, may ginawan ka ng masama,” said Alawi.
Relationship with Gerald
In January, Alonzo revealed that she could never be friends with Anderson, as she could not trust someone who couldn’t own up to their mistakes. In 2019, the actress vaguely confirmed the cheating issues of her boyfriend by posting cryptic messages on Instagram, which Barretto responded to.
The actress also said in one of her previous interviews that Anderson just stopped speaking to her and did not have any proper breakup or closure with him. “Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me,” she said then.
Anderson, for his part, told the press that his relationship with Alonzo was not healthy and that they were hurting each other constantly so that one would not want to be in it anymore.
Fans are considering 2023 as the breakup season given that most celebrities have broken up with their partners within the year, with some having a third party as the reason for the split.
