The search for Naia Black’s successor is on as “Drag Den Philippines” has revealed its cast for season two, which is set to premiere on Jan. 18 of next year.

On a streaming platform’s YouTube channel, host and head judge Manila Luzon — while assuming as the show’s “drag lord” — kicked off the minute-long trailer by welcoming fans to the “future.”

The trailer then exploded with what seemed to be the show’s retro-inspired set before revealing Deja, Margaux Rita, Elvira B, Feyvah Fatalé, Maria Lava, Mrs. Tan, Moi, Marlyn, Jean Vogue, and Russia Fox as the cast.

Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves and internet personality Sassa Gurl also returned as the show’s “drag dealer” and “drag runner,” respectively.

“Drag Den’s” social media platforms also shared the poster on the same day, with Manila standing on the center as some sort of a butterfly while the candidates were entwined by the vines.

Reports of “Drag Den’s” second season swirled in April 2023 after it held auditions for aspirants. The showrunners confirmed the reports through a teaser earlier this month.

Naia Black, also known as Naia, was crowned as the “Drag Supreme” or winner of season one. Shewarma and Maria Cristina were named as runners-up.

In September, the series bagged the Best Non Scripted Entertainment and Best Entertainment Host awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2023.
