Ervic Vijandre accused of assaulting brother

Ervic Vijandre’s brother and sister-in-law spoke up about the actor-politician’s supposed “hypocrisy,” accusing him of physical assault and of causing trauma to their family.

Ervic’s brother, Erwin, showed via his Facebook page on Thursday, Feb. 27, the photos of his swollen and bruised face from New Year’s Eve.

Along with the photos is a screenshot of Ervic’s recent birthday greeting to him, to which Erwin responded, “T******, seryoso ka ba? Baka di mo alam kung gaanong trauma ginawa mo sa pamilya ko?”

In a separate Facebook post, Erwin’s wife, Jaye, expounded on the matter, narrating the alleged incident that happened on New Year’s Eve involving the actor-turned-San Juan City councilor.

While Jaye did not mention Ervic’s name, she reshared the Facebook post of her husband about the actor, implying that she was referring to him.

“We kept quiet even though he never asked how Erwin was,” Jaye said. “He ONLY said sorry when we were at the police station and hall of justice, asking Erwin to not press charges on him. Erwin gave him the favor and still protected his ‘good’ image.”

“After he was released from detention, my husband didn’t hear anything from him and now he’s greeting him publicly as if nothing happened,” she stated.

Jaye stressed that they decided to make the incident public “to put an end to [Ervic’s] hypocrisy,” noting how the latter helps others for his political image but is supposedly “mean and rude to his own family.”

“When he threw multiple big punches on my husband’s head (all to the head), it was unprovoked and he started it while my husband’s back was turned. All of our children were there and they witnessed how he tried to end Erwin’s life,” Jaye recalled, adding that her children are still having nightmares about the incident.

“He was mad and he let it all out to my husband because of his conflicts with his family,” she further alleged.

Concluding her message, Jaye wrote, “I hope he gets our message to stop his hypocrisy and spares my family our sanity and peace of mind.”

Ervic has yet to address the allegations as of this writing.
