Angeline Quinto fangirls over Marian Rivera during ABS-CBN studio visit
Given that network wars dominated the local entertainment industry for years, it was a breath of fresh air not just for fans but for co-celebrities of primetime queen and king Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes to see the couple at the walls of ABS-CBN.
Promoting their first-ever project under Star Cinema and in collaboration with APT Entertainment and AgostoDos Media, the showbiz royalties were spotted at the Ignacia-based network, and singer Angeline Quinto was not able to contain her excitement seeing the couple.
In one of the videos of Rivera and Dantes’s ABS-CBN visit, the couple were seen interacting with reporters and singer Gari Valenciano when all of a sudden, a shriek can be heard. It was Quintos, who happened to be passing by the hallway and could not help but fangirl over the Kapuso actress.
“Marian! Oh my god!” the Star Power winner shouted. Rivera turned to look at her and appeared to recognize her. She said, “Sorry po, nahiya ako bigla.”

“Si Angge naman, parang nasa kanto lang. Kung nandyan si meme, tawang tawa na naman yun sayo,” wrote @HvnBnfc.
In one of the Kapuso couple’s interviews, Dingdong weighed in on the network war that used to exist between their home network and ABS-CBN.
“Wala na talaga [ang network war],” he said. “Wala na ‘yung line na ‘yun. I am just so proud that it’s literally happening right now—we have collaborations here and there, hindi lang sa pelikula kung ‘di pati sa telebisyon.’
The Danteses topbills the family drama titled “Rewind,” one of the entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Rewind will mark DongYan’s comeback on the big screen.
