Vice Ganda teases Kim Chiu on ‘It’s Showtime’ segment about exes: Kailan ka sasalang dito?

Vice Ganda seemed to have further piqued the fans’ curiosity about Kim Chiu’s relationship status after the comedian teased the actress to participate in a new “It’s Showtime” segment featuring former couples.
The noontime show launched on Monday, Dec. 4, the portion “Expecially for You” where two exes reunite and share the story of how they fell in love and fell apart. One of the pair will then be given a chance to find a new partner from the “searchees” present in the studio, but with the help of the former’s ex.
During Monday’s segment, Vice Ganda, Karylle, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario interviewed the former couple, while the rest of the show hosts sat on the side to watch. Vice Ganda joked that hours have already passed but the “customers”—referring to the seated hosts—still haven’t gotten the food they had ordered.
“Ang tagal nung french fries namin dito. ‘Yung kwek-kwek namin, nasa’n na (The french fries we ordered is taking too long to be served. Where’s our kwek-kwek)?” Chiu quipped, which led Vice Ganda to point out, “Ay, si Kim Chiu inom na inom.” (Kim Chiu seems very eager to have a drink.)
Hilario followed up with another teasing remark, “Bakit kaya sa tingin mo inom na inom [siya]?” drawing laughs from the audience and the other hosts. (Why do you think she badly wants to drink?)
Vice Ganda again turned to Chiu—whose relationship with actor Xian Lim has been hounded by breakup speculations—and asked, “Anong araw ka sasalang dito?” (When will you be featured here?)
Chiu burst into laughter over her fellow hosts’ remarks but appeared to have opted not to give comments on the banter.
The “Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” star then expounded his question, “[Sasalang] bilang host, kasi gusto niya mag-host. Marami rin siyang experiences na mashe-share as a host.” (What I meant was to be a host, because she wanted to be a host. Even as a host, she can share her [relationship] experiences.)
Chiu and Lim have been together since 2012. The actress-TV host denied the breakup speculations earlier in November. However, when asked about it again weeks later, Chiu said, “We’ll just keep it to ourselves [for the meantime].”
