Sharon Cuneta wishes she could be child again, says: ‘Pagod na ‘ko sa napakaraming bagay’

Sharon Cuneta seemed overwhelmed by a lot of things lately as she admitted wanting to be a child again, saying she has been “taking care of everyone and everything” since her dad got sick and that she couldn’t stop doing so even if she wished to.
The Megastar opened about this after she dreamed of herself “wanting to disappear,” as per her Instagram page on Wednesday, Nov. 22.
Cuneta narrated how in her dream, she sank herself in a swimming pool—which had other people in it—and didn’t want to come out. The actress-singer further noted that she was somehow able to stay under water for a longer time by taking short and shallow breaths.
“Ano kaya ibig sabihin nun? Ang alam ko lang, PAGOD na ako sa napakaraming bagay. Gusto ko mag-disappear?” she said in the caption. (What does it mean? All I know is that I’m tired of many things. Do I want to disappear?)

Netizens then chimed in via the comments section to share their interpretations of Cuneta’s dream. One @melinelparker suggested that the actress might be “overwhelmed with emotion,” and that she is “wishing [she] could go back to a time where [she was] a dependent soul, free of any responsibilities or the burdens of [her] own mind.”
In response to the Instagram user, Cuneta wrote, “I just said that four days ago! That I wish I could be a child again being taken care of by my Mom and Dad.”
“Since my Daddy got sick in the late ‘90s I have been taking care of everyone and I mean everyone and everything. I haven’t been able to, couldn’t stop since even if I’ve wished to,” the Megastar added.

Cuneta also agreed with another user, one @shellyllanera, who said that the Megastar may be “experiencing stress and anxiety” and that she may be longing for her “old self—alone, with no inhibitions and free to decide on what to do, where to go—without thinking of any repercussions of [her] choices.”
“Sounds about right,” the actress-singer replied.

Cuneta’s family has been making headlines since October after her eldest daughter, actress KC Concepcion, unfollowed Kiko Pangilinan and Frankie Pangilinan on Instagram.
Despite this, KC—the Megastar’s daughter with her former husband, actor Gabby Concepcion—underscored that she “will never unlove” her stepfather and her younger sister.
Meanwhile, Cuneta and KC seem to be on good terms as they were together at the reunion concert of the Megastar and Gabby last Oct. 27.
