Sharon Cuneta appeals to bashers to stop sowing discord among her children

Sharon Cuneta appealed to bashers to stop turning her children against each other amid speculations following her reunion concert with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion.
Cuneta’s husband former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan and their children Kakie, Miel and Miguel previously chose not to attend the concert to avert further talks over their relationship with KC, the Megastar’s firstborn daughter with Concepcion.
On Instagram last Monday, Cuneta shared several photos of herself with Pangilinan together with Miel and Miguel while dining. The event supposedly took place after the first of Cuneta’s three-night concert with Concepcion, which was conceptualized based on the clamor of their love team’s fans.
In her caption, she said that the concert would not have happened without the support of her husband and children, as she urged critics to stop making her children fight as they don’t “deserve any negativity.”
“To those who find pleasure in hurting the feelings of my family members, please. Tama na (stop it),” she said. “Nananahimik kaming lahat (We’ve been silent about this) and they don’t deserve any negativity… Never ko sana nagawa ang shows namin ni Gabby (I would not have done my shows with Gabby) without my husband and kids’ approval.”

The actress-singer pointed out that her family is “proud” of her reunion concert with Gabby, and that they kept an open mind. “They were the first to congratulate me after MOA! Malawak kasi isip ng pamilya namin, sorry naman! Proud sila of me! Tanggap ko na habangbuhay hati ang katawan ko kasi naging [two] ang pamilya ko.”
(They were the first to congratulate me after the concert in MOA. Sorry, they were open minded. They are proud of me. And I accept that my priorities will be split because I have two families.)
“Pero ako ang nahihiya sa mga anak ko kasi nadadamay sila just because I am their mommy, it hurts me. And pls I am not a ‘mamananggal!’ Please, kindly stop making my kids sabong or pinagaaway di naman sila mga manok (But I’m embarrassed for my children that they’re involved in this. As their mommy, it hurts me. And please, I’m not a monster. Please, kindly stop making my kids fight, they’re not chickens),” she continued.
Kiko expressed his love for Cuneta — whom he addressed as his “sweetheart” — in the comments and he’s “proud” of her.

Cuneta’s family has been making headlines since October, which stemmed from a supposed “unfollowing” that took place between KC and Kiko as well as Kakie last September. Despite this, the former clarified that she will always love her second family.
Weeks later, the Megastar apologized to KC for not giving her a “complete family” during her reunion show with Gabby.
