Michelle Dee ends her Miss Universe 2023 journey at the Top 10

Michelle Dee capped off her Miss Universe 2023 journey at the Top 10 during the coronation night at the Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador on Saturday, Nov. 18 (morning of Nov. 19 in the Philippines).

The crossover stunner was at the Top 10, but failed to advance to the Top 5 of the pageant.

  • Sheynnis Palacios (Nicaragua)

Before her exit, Dee showed off her fierce pasarela at the swimsuit competition and embodied a queenly stance at the evening gown portion in a black illusion dress by Mark Bumgarner, who supposedly derived inspiration from Kalinga tattoo artists Apo Whang Od.

She was also named as one of the Gold awardees in the “Voice for Change” video competition and the Spirit of Carnival award.

Dee was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2023 in May 2023, and is also the second openly bisexual Filipina to win the coveted title.

Catriona Gray remains as the last Filipina to be named as Miss Universe in 2018 after Pia Wurtzbach, Margarita Moran, and Gloria Diaz.
