While details of “Wowowin’s” comeback on television have yet to be revealed to the public, TV host Willie Revillame was recently spotted at the office of Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Cheloy Garafil, who has supervision over the government stations, PTV4.

In a photo uploaded on Wowowin’s official Facebook page last Oct. 10, Revillame was seen shaking hands with Garafil and Undersecretary Honey Rose Mercado, fueling speculations on where the game show will air.

“Abangan! Para sa mga Pilipino, para sa Pilipinas (Coming soon! For Filipinos, for the Philippines)! Mr. Willie “Wowowin” Revillame with Atty. Cheloy Garafil Secretary of the Presidential Communication and Honey Rose Mercado Undersecretary for Traditional Media and External Affairs,” the caption read.

The reasons behind their meeting have yet to be disclosed, as of this writing.

Revillame’s fans showed their excitement for the game show’s return in the comments, with one Sheryl Ogama Ostonal speculating that “Wowowin” will be aired on the government-run PTV channel 4 and IBC-13.

The TV host’s visit to the PCOO office just a few month after he dropped by PTV station in Quezon City, where he was welcomed by PTV anchors Aljo Bendijo and Diane Querrer.

Back in July, Revillame hinted that “Wowowin” will make a comeback through the release of his new song “Babalik Ako.”

His game show previously aired in the Manny Villar-owned ALLTV where he was tapped as top executive, before he stepped down in April 2023. EDV
