Will Willie Revillame’s ‘Wowowin’ make a comeback on PTV?
Weeks after Willie Revillame hinted that “Wowowin” is making its comeback, the TV host was spotted at the headquarters of government-owned People’s Television Network (PTV) which sparked speculations about the game show’s new home.
Revillame was spotted posing with PTV anchors Aljo Bendijo and Diane Querrer at the network’s office in Quezon City, as seen in the journalists’ Facebook pages last Tuesday, July 25. Reasons behind this supposed meeting, however, remained under wraps.
“Kuya Wil visits PTV,” Querrer’s post read.
The TV host was also seen exploring the network’s studio, per Bendijo’s post, where he treated the network’s anchors and general manager Ana Puod to a photo opportunity.

Syempre, di rin pahuhuli para magpa picture ang mga gwapang news anchors na sina Diane Querrer, Angelique Lazo at PTV General Manager, Ms. Ana Puod. Paparating na daw ang mga jacket. [emoji] Bira na! While the “Ikaw na Nga” singer has yet to confirm the speculations about “Wowowin’s” new home, Querrer hoped in the comments of her post that Revillame will choose to stay with the network for good.
The gathering comes weeks after Revillame teased the return of “Wowowin” with the release of his new song “Babalik Ako” earlier this month. Prior to this, he was reportedly offered to be one of the hosts of the revamped “Eat Bulaga.” However, he declined out of respect for its original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
The game show was previously under ALLTV’s umbrella, however, it went on a break after the host reportedly quit his post from the Manny Villar-owned network. EDV
