Kris Aquino admitted that she was displeased after Mark Leviste posted photos with Phillip Salvador, the father of her eldest son Josh, with the actress noting that she has only aired “a very cleansed version” of her side of the story.
The Queen of All Media said this in response to the Batangas vice governor’s now-deleted “thank you” comment on the former’s earlier post, wherein she clarified that she is currently “not in a relationship” with anyone.
“‘Even the nicest, kindest people have their limits’—I refrained from calling you by name and I tried my best to stick to the facts. You know what you’ve done over and over again… You are so aware of what my sisters and I are going through but heck, anything to gain attention,” Aquino said, as per screenshots that have been re-uploaded on social media.
“From the very start I asked you for privacy yet even that you felt impossible to give. I hated being the last to know. Then now, it’s take 2 with kuya’s dad,” she added, without naming Salvador.
Aquino was apparently referring to the two separate instances Leviste shared photos of him and Salvador on social media.
The first photo, posted via Instagram Stories in August, was when Leviste and Salvador met during an event for the Batangas Provincial Hospital, while the second photo was taken during the 50th anniversary of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) in September. Leviste appeared to have taken down the second photo from his Instagram page.
“We’ve had the bullying in all forms yet someone who got to personally know us had to post unwanted pictures 2x that inadvertently hurt my feelings, because I knew attention at the expense of an innocent like Kuya is so evidently an exercise in showing that you can get away with everything,” Aquino continued. “Not when [ang naapakan ay ang dignidad naming mag-nanay].”
“Be grateful people are reading a very cleansed version,” she concluded.
Aquino and Leviste’s relationship was revealed to the public last May 18. The following month, Aquino asked Leviste for a “pause” as he left California—where she currently stays for her medical treatments for her autoimmune diseases—to return to the Philippines.
Aquino, who has already unfollowed Leviste on Instagram, also earlier said that she and the politician no longer communicate, adding that she now feels “more peaceful” with her sons Josh and Bimby. /ra
