Another “Goin’ Bulilit” alum will be joining the list of celebrity graduates of 2023, as Igiboy Flores formally concludes his college journey this month.

The former child star, who decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration (major in marketing management), shared the good news during the recently concluded ABS-CBN Ball.

Flores, who enrolled in AMA University’s Online Education program and studied as a scholar, also talked about his experiences as an intern at a record label this year.

“‘Yung learning experience na natanggap ko and ‘yung experience ko as a… marketing specialist dito sa Star Music, sobrang laking tulong sa’kin (I greatly benefitted from the learning experience I’ve gained at Star Music and from my experience here as a marketing specialist),” said the 28-year-old actor-TV host, who is set to appear in the esports movie “GG (Good Game),” which will feature the collaboration of Donny Pangilinan and his mother, Maricel Laxa.

As a marketing specialist, he was involved in the production of marketing materials for artists such as “Ako Naman Muna” singer Angela Khen and “The Voice of the Philippines” season 2 champion Jason Dy.

Aside from creating the poster for Dy’s single “Ulit-Ulit,” and making the floor plan for a “single release” event of KZ Tandingan, the long-time Kapamilya talent also produced lyric videos as well as social media content, which he himself conceptualized.

While in training, “The Iron Heart” actor had to balance his time between his internship and work commitments with PIE (Pinoy Interactive Entertainment) Channel. After “Papa ng Masa,” he co-hosted  “Pak na Pak!” which aired its final episode in June.

Flores is now hoping to apply all that he has learned and experienced from his internship to his “passion project,” his clothing brand. He described his streetwear venture as “quite unconventional,” and further shared how he “tackles” or showcases multiple religions in his business.

“Hopefully, madala ko ‘yung knowledge na natanggap ko sa internship… para ma-market ‘yung sarili kong product (Hopefully, I get to incorporate the knowledge that I obtained from my internship in marketing my own product),” he shared. EDV
