Clarence Delgado received admiration from fans after the young actor graduated from high school as a top student, despite having gone through a “rollercoaster ride” the past few years.

The “Goin’ Bulilit” alum shared his achievement by showing moments from his commencement ceremony at Perpetual Help College of Manila through his Instagram page last Wednesday, June 28.

“These past few years have been a rollercoaster ride, for me it was a life full of adjustments, new environment, and new beginnings,” he wrote. “When I was fifteen up until this day I grew up not being in my comfort zone. But still it was a wonderful and a memorable academic year for me.”

“Despite a lot of people doubting my capabilities I remember a valuable lesson that my parents taught me and that is ‘despite all those who doubt you, you should never doubt yourself,'” he continued. “Lastly, to remember to not let anyone define what you can and cannot do.”

Delgado expressed gratitude to those who supported him and have been part of his high school journey, including his family, friends, teachers and God.

“Bringing back what I said during my Address of Thanks: ‘Do not let your DREAM just be a DREAM, you MAKE IT HAPPEN,'” he stated.

Aside from being the top student of his batch, Delgado also graduated with high honors and was given the Outstanding Performance in Business and Outstanding Performance in Athletics awards.
