‘NCT Universe: LASTART’ unveils final lineup for new NCT unit
As their iconic track “Raise the Roof” says, “so we just get bigger,” NCT expands once again.
The currently 20-member K-pop boy group from SM Entertainment welcomes seven new additions to the super team following the commencement of reality show, “NCT Universe: LASTART.”
The program was designed for chosen SM trainees to compete with each other as they vie for the opportunity to debut as members of a new subunit. “LASTART” on the show’s title is a fusion of the words “last” and “start,” symbolizing both the culmination of NCT’s limitless expansion concept and the inception of a new team.
Participating in the show were SM Rookies Sion and Yushi, whose debuts had already been confirmed. Nevertheless, they continued to perform alongside the other aspiring trainees in various episode missions and were also judged by their seniors like BoA and Eunhyuk who served as “artist directors.”
