Maine Mendoza seems to embrace her new chapter as a married woman as she traded her signature long locks for a fresh chin-length wavy bob that highlighted her face shape.
A wavy bob is a short haircut that has more volume and texture compared to its straight counterpart, which is best suited for women with high cheekbones. Among the celebrities who pulled off the hairstyle were Zendaya, Rihanna, and Lily Collins, among many others.
Mendoza took to her Instagram account on Tuesday, Aug. 29 to show off her new hairstyle, which was done by hairstylist Celeste Tuviera — whom she considers as her “ninang” or aunt.

The “EAT” host also shared a glimpse of her trip to the salon in a separate post, which showed how Tuviera brought Mendoza’s wavy bob to life.
“Use commute in a sentence. Dati cute lang ako, ngayon lalo akong.. Commute (I used to be cute, but I became… much more cute). Waaaah love the short do! Thank you, ninangchi! @celestetuviera,” she wrote.
