Actress-singer Lea Michele penned a touching tribute to her ex-boyfriend and “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith who died 10 years ago on July 13.

The “Scream Queens” star uploaded a photo with Monteith on Instagram and expressed how the actor will always be a part of her life.

“Hey you. 10 years. It feels like only yesterday that you were here and yet a million years ago all at the same time. I hold all of our memories in my heart where they will stay safe and never forgotten,” Michele told her former off- and on-screen partner, adding how she and the lives he has touched will forever remember the “light” he has given them.

“We miss you every day and will never forget the light you brought to us all. I miss you big guy. I hope you found Taylor up there and are playing the drums together. [heart emoji],” referring to — according to some users — Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins who died last year.

In the comments section, several fans of “Glee” remembered the Canadian actor with Michele, commenting GIFs of Finn Hudson, the character Monteith played on the musical series.

Fans also offered comfort for Michele and told her how delighted Monteith must be for the things she has achieved and the life she lives.

One @denise60454 told Michele, “The life you’ve made for yourself, he’d be so happy for you. ‘Funny Girl’ on Broadway and your beautiful family. He truly is resting in peace looking down with his amazing smile blessing you.”

Another user, @geri.aspergerss commented, “He would be so proud of you and the woman that you have become!!” adding how they envision it’s Monteith “playing the drums in heaven” each time they hear thunder.

Monteith’s death, which was determined to be due to “combined heroin and alcohol toxicity,” was classified as accidental. His character in “Glee” would make his final appearance in the show’s fourth season — in the “Sweet Dreams” episode.

Michele would find love again in Zandy Reich, whom she married in March 2019. The couple welcomed their son Ever in August 2020. EDV
