Olivia Rodrigo clinches third Billboard no. 1 single with ‘vampire’
This year is looking better than good for “good 4 u” hitmaker Olivia Rodrigo, as the Filipino-American singer’s latest single “vampire” soared atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
This marks the Grammy Award winner’s third single to debut at the top of the songs chart, following hits “drivers license” and “good 4 u,” both from her first studio album “SOUR.”
The 20-year-old singer-songwriter took to Instagram to celebrate “vampire’s” success and to extend her gratitude to her fans and team.

In the comments section, American singer-songwriter Conan Gray, alluding to the no.1 single, called Rodrigo a “blood sucker [and] chart topper,” while one @wigconicc mentioned that Rodrigo is “[t]he first artist in history to debut first two lead singles at no. 1.”
With the single’s rise to the top of the chart, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” drops to second place after reigning for 10 consecutive weeks.
Aside from “good 4 u” and “drivers license” which recorded eight consecutive weeks at no. 1, her other singles “deja vu” and “traitor” are also top 10 hits. Following the release of “vampire” last June 30, Rodrigo, who appeared in the latest cover of Vogue, is set to drop her sophomore album “GUTS” on September 8. EDV
