Tom Holland couldn’t help but gush about his girlfriend, actress-singer Zendaya, as he described their lowkey relationship “that’s worth its weight in gold.”
Holland briefly spoke about his relationship with his “Spider-Man” co-star during a podcast interview with actors Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett last Monday, July 3, where he admitted that he’s “lucky” to have someone like his girlfriend.
“I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life,” he said. “It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you. You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff. And that’s worth its weight in gold,” he said.
The couple, who went public in July 2021, were reportedly preparing for a “real future together” in November of last year, although they have yet to confirm the news.
Holland and Zendaya, are known for being tight-lipped about their romance, as it’s something they are “incredibly protective of.”
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers,” the British actor told The Hollywood Reporter in June of this year.
The celebrity sweethearts crossed paths during the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” where they started as good friends. Romance rumors swirled between the pair in 2017, although they insisted that there was nothing between them at the time. EDV
