While portraying her Yaya Dub role, Mendoza was paired with then fellow host Alden Richards. At the time, the actors’ love team was dubbed as AlDub, an amalgamation of their names. The onscreen partnership exploded in popularity in 2015, which led to both stars working together in numerous projects and advertisements.
Mendoza, alongside her “legit Dabarkads” Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon (TVJ), Jose Manalo, Allan K, Paolo Ballesteros, Ryan Agoncillo, Wally Bayola, Ryzza Mae Dizon and Carren Eistrup, recently launched their new noontime show “EAT” on TV5 network. /ra
