Nicki Minaj set to drop new album ‘Pink Friday 2’ in November
It’s time to get up from a “bed of lies” as rapper Nicki Minaj just spilled some truth about her fifth studio album.
The Grammy Award-nominated artist finally revealed the name of her upcoming record—”Pink Friday 2″—which will be released on Nov. 17.
In her Instagram post, she informed fans that she had spent days contemplating when to announce that the album’s release date had been moved. Earlier in the month, Minaj—via Twitter—announced that she would be releasing her next album on Oct. 20.
“Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys [at] a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit,” the “Super Bass” singer shared, but told fans to trust her as “it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT.”
Since she postponed the release of the album “just a tad” and to avoid getting “cussed out,” Minaj served “a tiny SIP of some more album tea,” revealing both the record’s new release date and the highly anticipated album name.
