In her Instagram post, she informed fans that she had spent days contemplating when to announce that the album’s release date had been moved. Earlier in the month, Minaj—via Twitter—announced that she would be releasing her next album on Oct. 20.

FEATURED STORIES

“Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys [at] a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit,” the “Super Bass” singer shared, but told fans to trust her as “it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT.”

Since she postponed the release of the album “just a tad” and to avoid getting “cussed out,” Minaj served “a tiny SIP of some more album tea,” revealing both the record’s new release date and the highly anticipated album name.

“MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23 and she shall be called: Pink Friday 2 [ribbon emoji],” the rapper shared.

Minaj also took the time to tell “Barbz” how much she appreciated their love and support through the years. “I love you guys so much. I am so grateful for the years of support [and] love you guys have given me,” adding that there were times she felt that “maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me.”

The “Starships” hitmaker assured fans that “you. will. love. this. album,” and promised to share details of her tour—which she said will commence “around the first quarter of 2024″—as well as the upcoming album’s “REAL” cover.

“Pink Friday 2” will be the rapper’s first studio album in five years after releasing “Queen” in 2018. The latter contained the singles “Barbie Dreams,” “Good Form” and the top-ten single “Chun-Li,” among others.  /ra
