“Ang latest po kasi ay mai-inquest po ito,” a public information officer of the Southern Police District (SPD) told INQUIRER.net over the phone.

Awra, whose real name is McNeal Briguela, was slapped with charges of physical injuries, alarm and scandal, disobedience to authority, and direct assault.

Briguela is under the custody of Makati police, and could soon post her bail, according to SPD.

“Usually po kasi kapag ganito na physical injury, bailable naman po ito,” the official said.

(Usually when we talk about physical injury, this charge is bailable.)

The 19-year-old Kapamilya star allegedly started a fight with the group of complainant Mark Christian Ravana.

Ravana and Angelo Nino Gulmatico, a bouncer at the bar, then sought the assistance of the Poblacion Police Substation.

Ravana and Gulmatico’s allegations, however, were disputed by Briguela’s friend, content creator Zayla Nakajima who claimed in a now-deleted Facebook post, that Ravana had tried to sexually harass her, and that Briguela merely defended her and their group. JMS
