John Lloyd Cruz, Ellen Adarna’s son Elias turns 5

Former couple John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna marked the 5th birthday of their son, Elias, taking to Instagram to celebrate their kid’s newest milestone.
In her post, Adarna shared snaps of then baby Elias, including one that shows a polaroid photo of him just after Adarna gave birth. Beside the polaroid shot is the hospital tag from when Elias was born in 2018.
In her caption, Adarna told her firstborn, “[T]hank you for giving my life purpose and meaning [heart emoji],” adding how the five-year-old has taught her “patience, empathy and unconditional love.”
“Mama loves you forever and ever and ever [heart emoji] [mother and child emoji] #timefliessofast [teary-eyed face emoji],” she said.

Adarna also told the birthday boy that she’ll see him soon, probably after picking him up from Cruz. The father-and-son duo seemed to have already celebrated Elias’ birthday as seen in the photos and video uploaded by Cruz in his Instagram post.
Aside from a photo of Elias’ cake — inspired by “Sonic the Hedgehog” — Cruz also uploaded a close-up shot of himself, with Elias and rumored girlfriend Isabel Santos at the back. Earlier this month, the rumored couple went out for dinner with Elias, and the three were joined by a few other people — seemingly Santos’ family.
A man of few words, at least when it comes to the captions of his posts, the award-winning actor simply told his son, “Happy Birthday Anak.” In the same post, Elias can also be seen excitedly jumping in a pool.

Adarna’s husband Derek Ramsay also gave a birthday shout-out to his “little babing” via an Instagram post. Ramsay uploaded a photo of the two together. “I’m super proud to be your Papa D! Happy birthday my little babing. Love you son [heart emojis],” he said.

Earlier this year, Adarna has expressed that all is well in her co-parenting agreement with Cruz, and shared that she and Santos have already met and exchanged hellos multiple times when Cruz would pick up their son. Adarna, earlier this month, also shared that she has given up smoking to prepare “my body to get pregnant.” EDV
