Celebrity mom Mariel Rodriguez is having a “bittersweet” vacation in France, which marked the first time she traveled all by herself in seven years.
The TV host documented her trip from when she flew out of the country to arriving in France, as seen on her Instagram page on Thursday, June 22.
“My first trip in 7 years… JUST ME. Bittersweet without my kids,” she captioned her post. “[I] was able to have champagne, sleep and eat.”
“Thank you babe, [Robin Padilla] for encouraging me to have this trip,” she addressed her actor-turned-politician husband.

Rodriguez spent the first day of her vacation walking around and enjoying food in Paris along with several other companions. The group also visited and toured around the Palace of Versailles.

Fans and fellow celebrities were delighted upon seeing Rodriguez’s photos, saying that the celebrity mom deserves going on a solo trip.
