Jane de Leon was filled with joy as she revealed that her mom Marie got engaged to her partner, who popped the question while they were in Japan.
The actress showed moments from when Marie’s fiancé, Cesar, got down on one knee beside the Tokyo Tower, through Jane’s Instagram page on Monday, June 12.
“Kapag masaya ka mama, masaya na rin ako,” Jane captioned her post. (Mom, if you are happy, then I am happy as well.)
“Grabe ‘yung effort and pagtatago namin para lang maging successful ‘yung proposal [because] it was our first time to plan something special,” she continued. “Akala namin hindi na mangyayari pero it happened. Still can’t believe this.”

Jane then expressed her love for her mom whom the actress described as “priceless and irreplaceable.”
“Love you mom! Happy for both of you, [and] Tito Cesar, please take care of our mom,” she addressed Marie’s partner. “She’s priceless and irreplaceable.”
Jane’s fellow celebrities and fans sent their congratulatory greetings as they gushed over the couple via the comments section.
Jane’s dad passed away when she was still a teenager. He died of cancer. /ra
