Jane de Leon’s mom undergoes surgery after figuring in an accident

Jane de Leon appealed to the public to include her mom Marie in their prayers as the latter had figured in an accident and was to undergo surgery Monday, March 13.
The actress showed Marie lying in a hospital bed with an arm cast, through Jane’s Instagram page also on Monday. Jane did not immediately disclose the details of the accident.
“Our mom got into an accident last Friday and today is her surgery. It breaks my heart to see her in this situation,” she said in the caption. “I’m doing my best to stay positive and make her smile even though she’s in pain.”
She then expressed gratitude to those who helped their family, including one @ellemendoza_ and @paulpatrickjuan who apparently accompanied her while she was attending to her mom’s needs.
“Also, sorry if I’m inactive. We are taking care of our mom. I want to thank all the people who helped us,” she added. “Please pray for the success of our mom’s surgery.”

Aside from fans, fellow celebrities Elisse Joson, Melai Cantiveros and Mutya Orquia, among others, extended their prayers and sent their well-wishes to Jane’s mom via the comments section.
