Joshua Garcia willing to work with ex-GF Julia Barretto in future projects

Joshua Garcia said that all is well between him and ex-girlfriend actress Julia Barretto, noting that he even told their bosses that he is willing to work with her in future projects.
Joshua spoke about this during an interview for “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Thursday, May 25. The topic was brought up after show host Abunda mentioned Joshua’s “Unbreak My Heart” co-star Gabbi Garcia, who earlier had an interview for the show and said that she gave Barretto, her friend, a heads-up before working with Joshua.
“Are you friends with Julia?” Abunda asked Joshua, to which he answered, “OK naman kami.” (We’re OK.)
Abunda then made a follow-up question, asking if Joshua is “willing to work with Julia in the future.”
“Yes, sinasabi ko sa mga bossing namin ‘yan,” the actor said. (Yes. Actually, I told our bosses about that.)
Joshua then said that although he was not able to talk with Gabbi’s boyfriend, Khalil Ramos, over his intimate scenes with the actress in the show, Joshua reached out to him by sending gifts.
“Palagi kong tinatanong kay Gabbi na, ‘Ano, kamusta kay Khalil ‘yung ganitong eksena? OK ba sa kanya ‘yon?’ Then sabi niya, ‘Oo, OK lang sa kanya ‘yon,'” Joshua stated.
(I always ask Gabbi, “What does Khalil say about [our intimate scenes]? Is that OK with him?” then she said, “Yes, it’s fine with him.)
“Hindi kasi sila nagpapakialaman ang dalawa. Kung ano ‘yung work nito, work lang ‘yan,” he told Abunda. “Tsaka professionally lang naman namin ginawa ‘yung kung ano ‘yung ginawa namin do’n.”
(It’s because the two of them do not meddle with each other’s work. Work is just work and besides, whatever we do on the set, we do it professionally.)
During the interview, Joshua also hinted at the state of his heart as Abunda asked, “Buo ba ang puso mo ngayon?” (Is your heart currently unbroken?)
“Yes, buong-buo,” Joshua responded without expounding. (Yes. It is very whole.)
Joshua was recently romantically linked to vlogger Bella Racelis after the pair were seen interacting through their Instagram pages’ comments section, and were spotted seemingly holding hands while walking in public in 2022.
However, fans were sent abuzz after they noticed that the vlogger appeared to have unfollowed the actor on Instagram. Both Joshua and Racelis have yet to comment on the real score between them, as of this writing. /ra
