Jennylyn Mercado gears up for acting comeback a year after giving birth

Jennylyn Mercado is set to make her acting comeback soon as she already had a meeting with her talent management team for an upcoming movie.

The actress, who took a break from show biz during her pregnancy in 2021, teased her return by giving a glimpse of the said meeting through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 3. Mercado shared photos posted by talent managers Katrina Aguila and Jan Enriquez.

“Meeting for a new endorsement and movie with the ultimate star [Jennylyn Mercado],” Aguila said.

Mercado has been married to actor Dennis Trillo since 2021. In the same year, the couple announced Mercado’s pregnancy, then welcomed their daughter Dylan in April last year. Recently the couple celebrated their daughter’s first birthday in a candy land-themed party.  /ra
