Filipino pop group HORI7ON is gearing up for their official debut as the members headed to South Korea, according to an announcement from South Korean music label MLD Entertainment.

HORI7ON, which is co-managed by MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN, was confirmed to fly to South Korea on Sunday, April 30, as seen in an official statement on the boy group’s Twitter page.

But Reyster Yton will catch up with his bandmates due to visa approval issues, although his updated flight schedule is yet to be disclosed.

“HORI7ON was scheduled to fly to Korea however due to visa approval issues, Reyster was not able to fly together. As soon as Reyster’s visa gets approved, he will be joining the rest of the members for their schedule in Korea. We ask for your kind understanding,” their statement read.

The members were then spotted with their families at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), as seen in several photos and videos uploaded by fan accounts on social media.

Both labels have yet to confirm whether Jeromy, Kim, Vinci, Marcus, Kyler, and Winston have arrived in South Korea, as of this writing. It can be recalled that it takes approximately four hours to reach Incheon International Airport in Seoul from NAIA.

MLD’s CEO Lee Hyung-jin earlier revealed at a press conference that HORI7ON will debut in South Korea this coming June 2023, where a reality show showing a glimpse of their behind-the-scenes activities will also be revealed.

The seven-member group was formed through the survival show “Dream Maker,” where they emerged as the winners out of 62 hopefuls.

The label also confirmed last April 28 that they’ve signed with former contestants Thad, Wilson, Jom, Josh L., and Macky, and will be preparing for their upcoming debut this year.

“The five members who have signed exclusive contracts will focus on training and preparing for their debut album with the goal of debuting this year. Following (HORI7ON), please look forward and cheer up these five talented boys,” MLD’s statement read.

In the Philippines, HORI7ON is labelmates with P-pop groups BGYO and BINI, who are managed by ABS-CBN’s Star Music.

On the other hand, MLD is home to Korean acts Lapillus, TFN, CocaNButter, Narin, and JT&Marcus. The label also managed the careers of “Bboom Bboom” hitmakers Momoland before disbanding in February 2023. EDV
