Edu Manzano made an open letter to Luis Manzano on his 42nd birthday in which the veteran actor spoke about how proud he is of his son, whom he described as a “loving husband and father.”
Edu greeted Luis by showing a photo of them together through his Instagram page on Friday, April 21.
“Dear Luis, happy 42nd birthday! On this special day, I want to convey my heartfelt blessings and congratulations on your recent blessings of having a wife and daughter,” Edu wrote. “You have always shone as a son, but now, as a loving husband and father, you radiate even brighter.”
“It brings me immense joy to see you take on these new roles with such devotion and dedication. I have no doubt that you will be an incredible partner to Jessy [Mendiola] and a wonderful father to Isabella Rose,” he continued, referring to Luis’ wife and daughter.
Edu then wished for his son’s happiness as well as the love he deserves, reminding Luis that he is “loved and cherished” by the people around him.
“I am incredibly proud of the man you have become and excited to see where this new chapter in your life takes you,” Edu concluded. “With all my love, Dad.”
In response, Luis expressed his love to his father via the comments section. He also thanked everyone who sent their greetings on the occasion in a separate Instagram post.

Luis is Edu’s son with his ex-wife, Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos. Luis married Mendiola in February 2021, and the couple welcomed their first child Isabella Rose in December 2022. /ra
