Luis Manzano, Jessy Mendiola celebrate 2nd wedding anniversary

It’s been two years since Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola said “I do”, but their romance remained as strong as ever, especially now that they have Baby Peanut.
The celebrity couple expressed their love for each other in their respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday, Feb. 21, as they marked their second wedding anniversary.
Mendiola revealed that she and the TV host have been together for a total of seven years, describing her husband as an answered prayer.
“I will protect you and I promise that if you grow weak, I will be there to fight your battles for you. [Seven] years together, [two] years married and still counting,” she began. “Isabella and I are so blessed to have you in our lives. I prayed for you every day, my love. God heard my prayer and gave me a good man.”

The actress admitted that she fell for Manzano due to his “kindness” and promised that she would be there for him “until the end.
“You are kind to a fault that others take advantage of your good soul. Maybe that’s why God put me in your life, para maging pulis sa mga epal na umaaligid sayo. [emojis] Just like what I promised you during our wedding 2 years ago, I will continue to be your [best friend], lover, wife, confidant and protector until the end,” she added.
Manzano, then commented with a sweet response.

Meanwhile, the “I Can See Your Voice” host recalled how his relationship with Mendiola began at a birthday party.
“One of the best decisions in my life was inviting you to my 2016 birthday, halatang napilitan ka lang at uwing uwi na (it was obvious that you would rather not have come and you were eager to go home), little did [I] know it was the start of a beautiful journey getting to know a friend, best friend, girlfriend, fiancee, wife and hot momma,” he said.

Manzano also noted that the “Maria Mercedes” star is the “strength” of their little family.
“Happy [second] wedding anniversary and thank you for being the strength of this family. Peanut and [I] love you Mama,” he added.
Mendiola appeared to have never forgotten how their relationship developed, as she took note of her expression in one of the photos in the comments.

Manzano and Mendiola started dating in 2016, and announced their engagement in December 2020.
The couple, who wed in February 2021, welcomed their first child Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano in December 2022. EDV
