Liza Soberano would pick Blackpink’s Jennie to portray her in a film: ‘She’s my alter ego’
Self-confessed fangirl Liza Soberano admitted that she would wan Blackpink’s Jennie to star as herself if someone were to make a film about her life.
Soberano made the confession during an interview with local fashion magazine Preview, as seen in a video on its official YouTube channel on Friday, April 14, where she was asked which actress she would love to play her in a movie.
“I would love for Jennie from Blackpink to play me in a movie,” she said before giggling in excitement. “She is kind of an actress now, she just did ‘The Idol.’ So, yeah. I would love for Jennie to play me.”
“She is my alter ego,” the actress added, before breaking into a huge smile.
The “Forevermore” star is known for being a huge fan of Blackpink, as she shared a photo of herself getting up close and personal with Jennie and Lisa during the quartet’s “Born Pink” concert in Los Angeles, California, in the US back in November 2022.

“I feel like there will come a time, especially when I hit my 30s, that I won’t want to be in front of the camera anymore. So, I want to be able to learn how things work behind the scenes because I really love creating films, and I love anything creative. I feel like that’s the direction I’m leaning towards. Creating, instead of being the one in front of the camera,” she said. /ra
