Roxanne Barcelo is now a mom of two as she announced that she and her non-showbiz husband Jiggs welcomed their second son, baby Theo, last January.
Barcelo, who is currently based in Taiwan, marked her return to YouTube after a “maternity leave” by introducing Theo through a vlog on Thursday, April 13. In the video, the actress also gave a tour of their fully furnished apartment.
“For the past few months, I have been on maternity leave and I gave birth a few days before my birthday [on Jan. 20] to this little boy named Theo. I’m so excited to introduce you to our second son Theo,” she said while showing her baby.
Barcelo said that her child was named after his great grandfather and grandfather, Theodoro and Antonio. She then spoke about her faith and how she is grateful for everything she and her family have now, noting that she is currently at a phase where she focuses on aiming for progress.
“Everything that I’ve dreamt of in terms of having my own family, having a husband whom I can love for the rest of my life is finally here, and it was not an easy journey to get to this book in my life but we’re here now,” she stated.
“I just pray for our health because ‘yun ‘yung pinakaimportante (that’s what’s most important)—that we can all be healthy and love each other,” she continued. “I hope you guys join me as I explore this territory of becoming an even better version of myself, being a better mom and being a better wife.”
Barcelo made public her marriage to Jiggs in December 2020, and welcomed their first child Cinco in 2021. Barcelo announced her second pregnancy through a vlog in September last year. /ra
