Maxene Magalona reflects on meaning of Easter

As she goes through her spiritual journey, Maxene Magalona on Sunday shared her reflections about what Easter meant for her.
On Instagram, the Kapamilya actress talked about reaping the rewards of change and renewal as part of a person’s growth.
“This is a sacred time for renewal and rebirth. We are all capable of change. There are parts of us that we must bury and there are parts of us that we must resurrect. This is the beauty of growth and evolution,” she said.
Magalona said that while the process may take time, 9one must be steadfast in their faith.
“The process may be hard and tedious but no matter what happens, there will always be hope. Keep going. Your reward will be your freedom and you will eventually receive your flowers,” she added. “Happy Easter, everyone! 🐣 We love and appreciate You, Jesus.”

The actress-yoga instructress has been open about discussing her spiritual journey, saying recently that spiritual growth is one of the most essential to have in life, which she said is even “more important than your marriage or your family… your job or your career.”
“You’re working on yourself directly instead of indirectly. If you create a beautiful inner environment, you can have a wonderful marriage, a wonderful family life, and a wonderful job. But if you have a mess inside, you’ll just be trying to use these outer situations to make yourself okay,” she said then.
Magalona has been separated from her husband, former model Rob Mananquil, but the actress said that she remained close to her former in-laws.
