Troy Montero seemed sentimental as he made a “father-to-daughter appreciation” post for Rocket, his 4-year-old child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Montero shared a video compilation of Rocket’s moments with him as well as her mom, actress Aubrey Miles, through his Instagram page on Tuesday, March 21.
Some of the clips included Rocket playing with a balloon with her dad, enjoying a seesaw ride with her parents, blowing out a candle on a cake and getting excited over a cake sparkler.
“Us dads will do anything for our little girls,” Montero wrote in the caption.
In the video, Montero used a voice-over of a dad’s message to his daughter as the background sound.
“To my daughter, never forget that I love you. I hope you believe in yourself as much as I believe in you,” the voice-over says. “When life tries to knock you down, I will always have your back. I can’t promise to be here for the rest of your life, but what I can promise is that I’ll love you for the rest of mine.”
Montero was commended by netizens for being an admirable father to Rocket, as per the comments section.

Montero and Miles revealed Rocket’s condition in April last year, saying they opted not to share the information immediately to the public because they were still educating themselves.
According to the couple, Rocket has been undergoing speech therapy and occupational therapy for her condition. /ra
