‘My Girl’ star Lee Da-hae, Korean singer Se7en to wed on May 6

Korean actress Lee Da-hae and singer Se7en announced that they will be getting married this coming May 6, after being in a relationship for eight years.
The celebrity couple confirmed their upcoming wedding on their respective Instagram accounts on Monday, March 20, flaunting their love for each other through a series of elegant prenup photos.
“This might not be a big surprise to everyone since we’ve been dating for eight years, but I’m not sure why I feel so shy. I guess I was so worried about how to tell you about this,” Da-hae began on Instagram. “This coming May, we promised to develop our long-time relationship into marriage.”

The “My Girl” star admitted that while she’s used to calling Se7en her boyfriend, she promised that she would be a supportive wife to her partner.
“I’m still more used to calling him as my boyfriend, but I will become a good wife who gives much strength and support to this person who has always been by my side. This person has given me great happiness, and he will now become my partner for the rest of my life,” she said.
“It would make us happy if we could get married with your love and blessings. I will repay all of your love by becoming a better actress and a prettier wife. Thank you,” she further added.
Meanwhile, the Korean singer described Da-hae as a partner who “has always embraced my imperfections” in their eight-year relationship. He also thanked his fans for supporting him for the past 20 years.
“I’m celebrating 20 years since my debut in 2023. I think this wouldn’t have been possible without the love of fans who always cheered me on,” he began. “I want to be the first to tell you that I promised marriage on May 6 with my girlfriend Lee Da-hae who has always embraced my imperfections for the past eight years.”

The “Better Together” singer then promised that he would live “more responsibly” as the “head of a household,” and promised that they would return soon.
“From now on as the head of the household and as a husband, I will live more responsibly in a more mature manner. Once again, thank you for always supporting me and we will be back to greet you in a positive light,” he said.
Da-hae and Se7en started dating in 2015, although their respective agencies confirmed their relationship only in September 2016.
The Korean actress is best known for her roles as Joo Yoo-rin in “My Girl” and Oh Soo-ah in “Green Rose.” She also appeared in the hit K-dramas “East of Even,” “Miss Ripley,” and “Hotel King,” among others.
Born as Choi Dong-wook, Se7en is best known for the songs “Come Back To Me,” “La La La,” “Promise,” and “Passion” which enjoyed success in South Korea, Japan, China, and the U.S. EDV
