LOOK: ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho’ star Lee Seung-gi visits PH, explores Ilocos

South Korean actor-singer Lee Seung-gi visited the Philippines recently and was spotted interacting with Filipino fans in Calle Crisologo and Baluarte Zoo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Aside from his visits in the said tourist spots, Lee Seung-gi also met and shared a meal with Chavit Singson and his son Luis, who gave a glimpse of their meeting through his Facebook page.

“With South Korean popstar, Lee Seung-gi,” Luis captioned his post. “[Sobrang] bait at humble niya.” (He’s so kind and humble.)

Fans, who luckily met the actor in Ilocos, also shared their photos with him through their social media pages, which were reposted by fan accounts @ongdongminn and @seung_gimouse on Twitter. It was not immediately known whether the actor’s visit to the country was for a project.

Lee Seung-gi is best known for his roles in several Korean drama series “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” “Vagabond” and “A Korean Odyssey,” among others. His hit songs include “Alone in Love,” “Will You Marry Me” and “Because You’re My Woman.”

The actor confirmed to the public his engagement to his girlfriend, actress Lee Da-in, in February. The couple, who has reportedly been in a relationship since late 2020, will reportedly tie the knot on April 7.  /ra
