Why Maricar Reyes-Poon has become wary of interpreting ‘signs’

Some people look for signs to see if things are going in their favor, and actress-entrepreneur Maricar Reyes-Poon did just that only to learn it’s not the way things always happen.
Reyes-Poon recently shared through her Instagram page her real-life experience of waiting for a sign related to her love interest and how it changed her mindset about it.
Titling her IG entry with “BE CAREFUL OF “SIGNS,” Reyes-Poon made a quick story about what happened regarding her love life a few years ago.
“A LOOOOONG time ago I had a crush on someone, but I wasn’t sure if he liked me. He was always friendly but never ‘made a move’ to confirm or not,” she narrated.

She said that one time while waiting for a taxi, she prayed, “God, if this guy is THE ONE, let the 4th taxi that passes by here be RED.”
Article continues after this advertisement“Eh rare ang red taxi diba? So sige…Guess what… THE 4TH TAXI WAS RED NGAAAAAA,” she said.
Calling it a “miracle,” she said, “What were the odds?!?!?!?”
She was, to say the least, very giddy and very hopeful. But nothing happened.
“Now, more than 15 years later, I’m happily married to someone else. Thank God. And I have no idea where that guy is now,” she said.
“Ingat lang din sa mga sign sign na yan,” she added. (Be wary of the sign thing).
