Xian Lim advocates for self-love in latest vlog

Actor-director Xian Lim is advocating self-love in his latest vlog, saying loving one’s self and becoming his own top priority should not be construed as selfishness.

In a video that he posted on Instagram, Lim underscored the importance of loving oneself first and foremost.

“A gentle reminder: It’s not selfish to prioritize yourself first before others,” he captioned his post, then a statement from Oprah Winfrey, which said: “If you don’t fill your own cup, other people will drain you dry.”

In the video, Lim said that ponder on things and setting aside matters to prioritize oneself is self-love.

“We all have responsibilities especially to our family and work. But what if I tell you to put that aside for now and look after ourselves first?” he said. “It’s not selfish to take care and prioritize yourself and make your happiness your priority. Don’t forget to fill your own cup first so that you can over flow and fill the lives of others.”

Xian’s latest vlog showed him and girlfriend Kim Chiu as they visited  the famous Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland. While there, the couple sang a few stanzas of Miley Cyrus’ song, “The Climb”. EDV
