Jeromy, Marcus, Kyler, Vinci, Reyster, Kim, and Winston have been named as the seven finalists who will debut as members of HORI7ON in South Korea, following the finale of the ABS-CBN survival show “Dream Maker”.

In partnership with Korean entertainment agencies MLD Entertainment and Kamp Korea, “Dream Maker” is a survival series where the public had to choose between 62 hopefuls who will debut in a global pop group in South Korea after a series of talent-based challenges. The finale then revolves around 16 contestants where the final seven members will be chosen.

The show’s format is loosely inspired by the hit franchise “Produce 101”, as well as “Girls Planet” where the winning set of contestants will debut as members of a group.

Prior to the announcement of HORI7ON’s members, the 16 contestants were divided into Team Dash and Team Deja Vu for their final performances.

Upcoming debut

The members of HORI7ON will take part in promotional activities in the Philippines until March of this year, and they will then move to South Korea to prepare for their global debut.

The boy group is slated for a June 2023 debut, according to MLD Entertainment via the media conference for the show’s finale. MLD is the home of K-pop acts including Lapillus, TFN, CocaNButter, Narin, and JT&Marcus; and was previously the agency of girl group Momoland.

Among the most popular K-pop groups emerging from survival shows include Wanna One, IZ*ONE, I.O.I, X1, and Kep1er, among many others. EDV
