‘Wintle is coming’: Iza Calzado goes on brief social media break to prepare for baby’s arrival

Iza Calzado appears to be excited about being a mom, as she revealed that she’s going on a “short social media break” to focus on the arrival of her baby girl.
Calzado announced her temporary farewell from social media through a set of stunning maternity photos with husband Ben Wintle on her Instagram account on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
“L O V E [heart emoji] We humbly ask for love and prayers as we enter this new chapter of our lives. Will be taking a short social media break as I go through matrescence [or the process of being a mother] and experience its joys and challenges,” Calzado said.

The actress also gushed about her “little one,” saying that she and Wintle are “so excited” to meet her.
“We are so excited to meet you and hug you, little one! You are so loved! [heart emoji] #WintleIsComing,” she added.
Fellow celebrities Marjorie Barretto, Shaina Magdayao, Ryan Agoncillo, Iñigo Pascual, Isabel Oli-Prats, and Denise Laurel, as well as beauty queen Stacey Gabriel shared their excitement over the arrival of the couple’s baby.
“YOU ALREADY KNOW WE GOTCHU!!! Love n prayers to u guys,” Laurel said.
“Sending you love, and you can definitely count on our prayers,” Barretto wrote.

Prior to Calzado’s social media break, she looked stunning in a maternity shoot that was taken by celebrity photographer BJ Pascual. The photos showed the mom-to-be paying homage to her “Encantadia” character Sang’gre Amihan and donning an all-white outfit.

Calzado, who tied the knot with Wintle in December 2018, confirmed that she’s expecting a baby on her 40th birthday. The actress then announced that she’s pregnant with a baby girl in November 2022 through an open letter to her late mother. EDV
