Almost two weeks after she gave birth, Chrissy Teigen has finally shown the face of baby Esti Maxine, her third child with husband John Legend.
The American model showed the child curled up on her chest through an Instagram post on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
“Look at [you] out here looking like a baby,” she said in the caption.
The face reveal comes days after Teigen and the American singer-songwriter gave the public a peek at Esti through their respective pages last Jan. 20.
“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens — the house is bustling and our family could not be happier. Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love,” Teigen wrote, referring to her two older children. “[And] I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!?”
“We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well-wishes. We feel it all!” she added.
Legend, for his part, spoke about how Esti’s arrival filled their home with overflowing love and joy.
“I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister,” he stated. “I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word.”
Legend first announced the birth of his third child during a private concert on Jan. 13, the same day Esti was born, as per a report by People.
The couple revealed Teigen’s pregnancy in August last year, nearly two years since they lost their unborn baby due to complications in 2020.
Months after her miscarriage, Teigen expressed grief as she stated she would “never be pregnant again.” She also admitted in an interview at the time that she was “coming to terms” that bearing another child would be difficult for her because her “uterus is just not cooperating.”
Teigen and Legend welcomed Luna in 2016 and Miles in 2018. /ra
