Nadine Lustre was a head-turner yet again at the 48th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal as she showed up with a gold face tattoo of “Deleter” on the bridge of her nose.

Celebrity makeup artist Jelly Eugenio shared close-up photos of Lustre’s Gabi ng Parangal look on his personal Instagram page on Wednesday, Dec. 28, which he described as his “favorite makeup” this year.

Eugenio revealed that Lustre’s makeup look was supposed to be used for the premiere night of “Deleter,” but that he accidentally lost “all the tiny letters.”

“This is probably my most favorite makeup I did this year. Not because it’s the most different nor is it something new, but because it has meaning,” Eugenio said. “I’ve had this idea of a name across the face (similar to like a band-aid makeup), I [have had] it saved for a year now maybe.”

The makeup artist shared that the trailer for the psychological techno-horror film inspired him to do the actress’ makeup look.

“I saw Nadine’s trailer for this movie and I knew in my heart that I had to do it. ‘Deleter.’ That’s it. Plus, this season is not the easiest for me as well… So, to achieve a look that makes my heart happy, in a time [when we don’t] feel the most joyful (though I am very thankful), this is a (little) triumph I need to celebrate,” he added.

Eugenio also congratulated Lustre on her Best Actress win in a separate post.

“And our MMFF BEST ACTRESS [sobbing emojis] @nadine The #Deleter […] These are the movies you deserve,” he said.

Apart from her makeup look, Lustre stunned fans at the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal as she donned a caramel-colored off-shoulder gown styled by Lyn Alumno and Raf Villas, gold jewelry and a Paul Nebres updo with bangs.

The actress was named Best Actress for her role as content moderator Lyra in “Deleter” and Star of the Night, alongside Best Actor Ian Veneracion (“Nanahimik ang Gabi”). The Mikhail Red thriller was the big winner at the awards night, racking up seven awards including Best Picture and Best Director.  /ra
