Song Joong-ki confirms he’s in a relationship with British woman

Korean star Song Joong-ki has confirmed that he is currently in a relationship with a non-celebrity British woman, according to his agency.

The Korean actor’s relationship status was confirmed through his agency, via a statement to local media Soompi and Sports Chosun via Korea JoongAng Daily, today, Dec. 26.

“Actor Song Joong Ki is currently seeing a woman with positive feelings. We hope that you will look warmly upon their relationship,” the agency stated.

“We ask for your understanding in regards to the fact that we cannot confirm any information aside from the fact that they are dating, and we would be grateful if you refrained from publishing any speculative or unconfirmed reports,” it added.

Song Joong-ki’s new relationship comes about three years since his divorce with fellow actor Song Hye-kyo, who was his co-star in the hit Korean drama “Descendants of the Sun.”

The two tied the knot in October 2017, then Song Joong-ki filed for divorce in 2019. The actress’ agency at the time cited “differences in personality” as the reason for the divorce.  /ra
