Not everyone is celebrating the holiday season in bliss, as Jovit Baldivino’s fiancée Camille Ann Miguel marked her first Christmas without the late singer — 16 days after his death on Dec. 9.

Miguel took to her personal Facebook account on Saturday, Dec. 24 to recall a past conversation with Baldivino on Christmas day in 2021, as she mourned the death of the singer.

“Love ko.. ngaun ako na po una babati sau [emoji] unang pasko simula naging tayo na d kita kasama sobrang hirap kaya naunawaan nmn nila ko na wala munang pasko at bagong taon [emoji] kung nasan kaman ngaun asawa ko sana masaya ka dyan,” Miguel said.

(My love, I will be the first one to greet you this time. Since we got together, this is the first Christmas without you and it’s so hard. I think they understand why I decided to not celebrate Christmas and New Year for now. My husband, I hope you’re happy wherever you are.)

Miguel shared that the late singer would wait for exactly 12 midnight to greet her on Christmas, noting this small gesture is what makes her long for Baldivino’s presence even more.

“Pero kailangan kong kayanin para sayo dahil alam kong kung nahihirapan ako mas nahihirapan kang nakikita mkong ganto,” she added.

(But I have to be strong for you. Since I know that while I’m having a hard time without you, it would hurt you more to see how I am doing right now.)

Despite her loss, Baldivino’s partner admitted that she still feels the singer’s love even until now. “hndi kaman nagpapakita sken pero ramdam kita ramdam ko pdn ang pagmamahal mo dahil sa tuwing umiiyak ako biglang meron malamig na yumayakap sa katawan ko,” she said.

(You may be gone, but I still feel your love because I feel like someone is hugging me when I cry.)

Baldivino died of complications due to a stroke at age 29 on Dec. 9, five days after being in a coma. His remains were buried at the Paradise View Memorial Garden in Padre Garcia, Batangas on Dec. 14. EDV
