WATCH: Argentine Nico Bolzico teases half-French Erwan Heussaff about France’s World Cup loss
Erwan Heussaff has been the target yet again of his brother-in-law Nico Bolzico’s playful ribbing with the heartbreaking loss of France to Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals last Dec. 18.
Heussaf is brother to Bolzico’s wife Solenn, who recently gave birth to their second daughter. The Heussaffs are half-French, courtesy of their French father, while Bolzico comes from Argentina. Incidentally, Bolzico said the second name of his second daughter would be “Lionel,” after the Argentine footballer Lionel Messi who brought Argentina to the World Cup finals.
Bolzico was still riding high on Argentina’s victory that he couldn’t help but rub it in for Erwan who was rooting for France.
“Hi guys. First, good morning. And second, France,” Bolzico said on his Instagram post on Friday, as he pointed to Heussaff before walking out. The half-French content creator laughed in response.
“Just to close the #worldcup2022 chapter! Explanation: France lost [the final] to Argentina,” Bolzico said.

Earlier, Bolzico posted on Instagram that he was watching the football match at the Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar, explaining that Argentina’s victory in the World Cup was a big deal among his fellowmen.

“It is hard to explain to [non-football] fans. We [grew] up playing football, regardless if you are good or bad at it; dad taking you to the stadium is one of your first childhood memories,” Bolzico wrote. “This game was the most important game in Argentine Football history. A country divided in two, suffering from years of adverse [economic] conditions, that for the first time in a long while, felt as one.” EDV
