Andrew Schimmer after fiancée Jho Rovero’s death: ‘I’m sorry… but I hate Christmas’
It’s been three days since the death of Jho Rovero, the fiancée of Andrew Schimmer, and the actor is still coming to terms with his loss, saying he will never like Christmas again.
Schimmer took to his personal Facebook account to share his thoughts about his loss on Dec. 22, as he uploaded a video taken hours before his partner passed away.
The video showed the actor sharing his plans for the day, where he wrapped up filming for an episode of the game show “Family Feud.” Schimmer and Rovero’s son Xander was also present, saying he wanted to celebrate his birthday with his mother in the hospital.
“Sometimes life will break you to the point of no return [broken heart emoji] it will give you so many circumstances that you will really hate [yourself] [emojis] I’m sorry…but I hate Christmas, and I don’t think I will ever like it again,” Schimmer said in the caption.
Rovero passed away on Dece,ber 20 at the age of 34 after more than a year in coma from complications due to cardiac arrest and severe asthma. She also suffered from a condition called hypoxemia, characterized by breathing difficulties due to below-normal oxygen levels in the arteries. She was first brought to St. Luke’s Hospital in Taguig City in November 2021.
Schimmer revealed that he was told about the death of his partner while taping for the GMA game show. EDV
