MANILA, Philippines — P-pop global sensation SB19 has opened up about the pain of “anxiety and longing” in their new ballad “Nyebe.”

SB19 composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin released the ballad as a song that “keeps you company” on their music and social media platforms on Monday, December 12.

“Nyebe” is described as a “ballad that encapsulates warmth, longing, and sadness,” according to the official visualizer released on their official YouTube channel on the same day. The video garnered over 78,000 views, as of this writing.

The ballad was written and produced by Pablo, alongside singer-songwriter Thyro Alfaro. A solo version of the track was originally uploaded at the SB19 leader’s Soundcloud account in 2020

Prior to the release of the track, a series of black-and-white teasers were released on SB19’s social media accounts.

SB19 debuted in October 2018 with the single “Tilaluha.” The group eventually gained local and international recognition with “Go Up,” after a dance practice of the video went viral on social media.

Fresh from the success of their “Where You At Tour” or WYAT world tour, the P-pop sensation is set to hold their WYAT homecoming concert at the Araneta Coliseum on December 18. SB19 confirmed at a media conference that a new album called “Pagtatag” is currently in the works.
