MANILA, Philippines — Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano moved into a new rental house which they consider as a much “safer” space for the pregnant actress and their first child.
The couple gave fans a virtual tour of their “temporary house” which features a gym area, breakfast nook and a four-feet pool, as seen on Mendiola’s YouTube channel on Sunday, December 11.
The actress explained how their new house has a much safer structure for a pregnant woman and a baby compared to their previous home.
“As much as we love that house, we have to move to another rental home kasi ito na nga ang pinakabagong blessing sa aming buhay [kaya] kailangan safe,” she said, referring to their unborn child whom they call Peanut.
(As much as we love that house, we have to move to another rental home because this is a new blessing so we have to be safe.)
“Kaya namin nagustuhan itong bahay na ito kasi sobrang simple niya at malinis. Maganda lighting sa bahay na ito at kapag lumabas ka, maaliwalas, mahangin at tahimik,” Mendiola stated. “Nagustuhan namin ‘yung natural feel, ‘yung energy.”
(We chose this house because it is very simple and clean. It has good lighting as well as a cozy, ventilated and quiet outdoor area. We love it for its natural feel and energy.)
Mendiola and Manzano then expressed hopes to provide a tour of their own family home in the next few years.
“Hopefully ‘yung next house tour natin, ‘yun na ‘yung pinapatayo talaga naming bahay,” Manzano concluded. (Hopefully, the next house tour that we will be doing is at our own home.)
Manzano and Mendiola, who wed last year, revealed last August 11 that they are expecting their first child. The couple then announced on August 25 that they will be welcoming a baby girl into their family.
