Catriona Gray dismayed after her speech was ‘cut off’ during Global Peace Festival
Catriona Gray has expressed disappointment when she was “cut off” from finishing her 20-minute speech at the Global Peace Festival 2022 held in Pampanga.
The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder, who attended the festival to deliver a “message from the youth,” extended her apologies to those who have waited for her at the event, as per her twitter page on Saturday, Dec. 3.
“I’m so disappointed. To everyone who has been waiting in the heat at the [Global Peace Festival 2022], I’m sorry,” she wrote. “I worked on a [20-minute] speech for you all, and have been so excited to share it with you all but I was cut off not even [10 minutes] in.”
While she did not expound what transpired in the event, the beauty queen assured fans that she appreciates them despite not being given “proper time” with them.
“Just know I love and appreciate you guys and I’m so sad I wasn’t able to have my proper time with you,” she stated.
